In Shivgad, a small village on the border of Maharashtra and Goa, Inspector Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) fighs against injustice, prejudice and corruprtion using his own brand of ethics and justice. When Kavya (Kaajal Aggarwal) comes from Goa to visit her grandparents she is charmed by Bajirao's bold and courageous demeanor. Destiny sets up the honest and deligent police inspector against the tremendously powerful criminal cum politician Jaykant Shirke. Jaykant's manupulations ensure that Singham is promoted and transferred to Goa. Little does Singham know that while this move will bring him closer to Kavya, it will also deliver him into the clutches of Jaykant. Because Goa is the place where Jaykant rules supreme. And Jaykant has vowed to make Singham's life a living nightmare. Alone in enemy territory, Singham must now rise to his toughest challenge - hold on to his principles and destroy the all powerful enemy.
